When does my new uniform from McCarthy's take effect?
We're pleased to be your official uniform supplier as of February 1st, 2021.
If I am a HCDSB parent or student how can I learn more about the transition and our school uniform program?
To help your transition, please register for an account . Once you register for an account, you will be able to download your school uniform guide including all prices and promotions. Your custom e-store is already up & running ! If you have questions about the transition or your program, please email us at customerservice@mccarthyuniforms.ca and we'd be happy to assist you!

Where will I shop?
There will be a few ways to shop!
- Your school will have a custom e-store built just for you! On our homepage ( mccarthyuniforms.ca ) type your school name into the search bar that says "Search for your school uniform e-store" and your custom site will pop up. Your site will include helpful videos, a live chat feature, detailed sizing charts, product videos and much more! Your e-store is open for shopping 24/7 !
- Our call centre and chat features are shopping channels and you can place orders over the phone at 416-593-6900 (for GTA calls) or 1-800-668-8261 for calls outside of the GTA. If you click on the chat icon on any page of our website, you can also live chat with a uniform specialist who can place your order.
- To shop in-store, please visit our locations page to find out more about the most up to date operating model during various COVID restrictions. Irrespective of lockdown, all customers can still place orders online or via phone for curbside pick up. Restrictions may be in place for walk-in customers and will be dictated by public health regulation.
What is my new uniform?
We encourage you to register early to be notified when your uniform goes live! There are no material changes to your school uniform, although some schools will be streamlining options and updating logos.
How does the new HSCDS elementary school uniform policy work?
All HCDSB elementary schools have:
- Exclusively crested tops, deemed mandatory for each school community, and only available at McCarthy’s; and
- Plain navy bottoms (pants, shorts, skorts) and tunics that are complaint with the ‘navy bottoms’ dress code policy for HCDSB and are available at McCarthy’s but also may be purchased at other providers providing dress code compliant navy bottoms.
All items offered at McCarthy’s, including navy bottoms and tunics, offer an up to two year warranty.
